Meet Hemplets for inter-group trading! Sunday May 6th 11am - 4.30pm Berkhamstead Lodge, Ashridge Park, Berkhamsted,HP4 1NP Family and friends welcome 5B per person. You are invited by Hemplets to meet at Janet Stupple’s home for a social and Trading event. Please bring at least one item priced in Buzzards. As Janet belong to both groups, she can act as banker so that you can buy Hemps goods too! The value of one of your goods should not be less than 4 Buzzards. PROGRAMME 11.00 Welcome with beverages and biscuits. Time to walk around the garden to buy plants from me in my cold frames and to explore and purchase from the trading table. 12.00 A light lunch with vegetarian options, all home made/ grown by Hemplets members 1.00 (depending on numbers) a walk into bluebell territory with opportunities at various stages to return to base 4.00-4.30 on return from walk beverages and cake As this is quite a big undertaking involving the commitment of many Hemplets members in the organisation of the event we request that Jean is informed of your attendance by April1st jeanvharding@gmail.com Should too few people commit the event will be cancelled.

Cycling Training Offered from Pauline (13) I can offer Cycle Training at any level (and even have some spare bikes to use, if you don't yet have one!) for complete beginners, gaining confidence, riding in light traffic, riding on more busy roads, and handling large roundabouts/ changing lane etc.
I am available during weekdays and occasionally at weekends and some holidays - by negotiation. Many people need only an hour of input to really increase their confidence and skills and go away and practise some techniques, others might prefer a few sessions. We can tailor the learning to your needs, availability and abilities. 10 Buzzard per (hour's) session (extra by negotiation to borrow a bike for the session). Usually I can come to you, or meet at a mutually convenient location. |
